As part of Catholic Schools Week, San Gabriel Mission High School welcomed Bishop David G. O’Connell as students, faculty, staff and parents attended mass in the old San Gabriel Mission. It was a very uplifting to listen to Bishop O’Connell as he talked about Jesus always being there for us. His words offered comfort and reminded us that during trying times, Jesus is with us.
The entire congregation could see the passion that Bishop O’Connell has for education and how important he feels that a Catholic Education serves as the foundation of our lives. It was truly a heartfelt experience.
