SGMHS Senior Participates in Summer Internship at Tech Company

The was a very productive summer for San Gabriel Mission High School Senior, Yoyo Sin. She was invited to participate in a summer internship at a startup fitness application company called Fitivity. The company is based in Los Angeles and has more 300 apps released in the Android Play Store and almost a 100 apps released in the Apple App Store.

 

During the internship, Yoyo received hands-on computer experience in many areas including inputting information into the CMS (content management system). According to Yoyo, It was crucial to put the correct information into the system because the information was going to be utilized in the apps. Also, she was involved in cutting and tuning audio tracks for commands in apps.   She completed cutting 4,500 audios at the end of her internship.

 

This senior not only gained greater computer knowledge but learned to communicate and work cooperatively with colleagues. She learned responsibility and what it is like to be a team player. This summer internship proved invaluable.
