Mr. Landinguin is proud of his students and excited to be building a film culture at SGMHS as students want to be involved in film as not only part of the Film Club, but just because they like making films. According to Mr. Landinguin, “As a teacher I like to see my students take an interest in the class and want to learn more beyond the classroom. The IB Film Studies Course is a 2-year program where students study the history of film and learn the basics of filmmaking, creating several film projects over the course of two years and leave the class with a reel of their work that they can use for admission to film school.
