This week past week, a delegation of students from San Gabriel Mission High School attended the book signing event for Chelsea Clinton's new book It's Your World: Get Informed, Get Inspired & Get Going! at Vroman's Bookstore in Pasadena. This book highlights young people in the world who are doing inspiring things in their world in order to make it a better place. The students had a great time, and gained valuable cultural experience in meeting the former First Daughter of the United States. Most importantly, through the examples given in the book they were able to see the Gospel values at work in the desire to do good for others, which made their Catholic education real.
