The Welcome Family Picnic hosted by the Parent Board was the first of its kind. Despite the heat, SGMHS families made it out to our field to enjoy an afternoon of summer fun. The event began with a beautiful prayer service led by our VERITAS team. Activities included volleyball, bean bag toss, line dances, and relay races. The senior and junior class boards sold cool treats such as popsicles, popcorn, nachos, and fruit. The event wouldn't have been complete without the fun summer sounds of our resident DJ, Mr. Delgadillo an 11th grade father.
Thank you to the Parent Board, Faculty and Staff, and SGMHS families for braving the heat for some fun. This is sure to be a great school year and we look forward to seeing all our parents at the Halloween Parent Dance in October!
