All seniors who are going to college next year must fill out the FAFSA by March 2nd. Please make sure your daughter completes the FAFSA by Saturday, March 2nd for priority grants and scholarships.
Today we officially started the Early Bird registration for 2013-2014. The early bird price of $350 will be offered through April 30th. Effective May 1st the price will increase to $500. Please take advantage of this discount.
Thank you to all who purchased their Parent Dance tickets. This event marks the last of the mandatory events for the year. Please note that any unpaid balances will need to be paid in order for your daughter to take her final exams in May.
Juniors and Seniors, your Christian Service Portfolios and the remainder of your 25 hours of service are due on Monday, March 4th. This is 20% of your grade. If you turn in your hours or portfolio late, the highest grade you may earn is a 50%. Make sure that you have two copies of your most recent hours. One copy goes to RM 123, and the other copy goes to your religion teacher in your portfolio.
This week students were given a permission slip for the play “The King and I”. All permission slips are due on Tuesday to Ms. Olmos in Room 123.
Our Student dance has been rescheduled for April 19th.
On April 26th The Los Angeles Dodgers present the 3rd Annual Catholic School's night. SGMHS will be selling tickets for this event. Your daughters will receive a flyer on Monday.
Softball and track parents: All sports fees should have been paid to the business office as of March 1, 2013. If you have not paid, your daughters will not be participating in games or practices for their teams until this fee is paid. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Overley.
All parents of Mission Athletes: Just a reminder as a parent of a Mission athlete, you are required to donate 10 of you parent service hours within the athletic department. There will be an opportunity for you to earn some of your hours by helping to put up the outfield fence for the softball team on Tuesday, March 5th beginning at 9:00 am. Come and help support the softball team by donating a few hours of your time.
