P.A. ANNOUCEMENTS November 7, 2012

It is the month of NOVEMBER and with that comes Veterans Day, Thanksgiving and Fall Colors! Dust off your reds, oranges, yellows and browns and join Veritas in dressing up in these colors for Koins 4 Kids next Tuesday, November 13th.

Hey sophomore retreat team! Just a friendly reminder we have a meeting today from 3:30 – 4:30 today, please be prompt.

Homecoming dresses will be checked today at lunch and afterschool and then again this Friday after school.

Ladies 2nd Homecoming Bid is due to the business office by Friday, November 9th. Please make sure that your money is turned in with all paperwork so you can attend.

Do you need more service hours? Attention all students, Mrs. Aneja has an opportunity for you to get 8 to 16 service hours this Saturday and the following Saturday. St. Joseph’s retreat center needs volunteers to work 8 hour shifts each day. If you can do both Saturday’s you can get up to 16 hrs. Please see Mrs. Aneja for details.

Baby Drive
The baby item drive has been extended until the end of the week! Spirit points are still up for grabs, so be sure to put in some change into your designated bin in the foyer! Thanks! Please celebrate Respect Life month and support those are saying YES to LIFE by donating new or gently used baby items. We are going to have a class competition for spirit points with each class trying to earn the most money for a local pregnancy help center. Please support.

Attention Ladies, want to help with our next Liturgy? Our lady of Guadalupe Liturgy is on December 12th, you can sign up Nov 6th thru Nov 13th only. So hurry if you want a spot. Thank you. Go Veritas.

Attention All Seniors, Yearbook will be taking senior division pictures today after school at 5:30 pm. Please come in formal uniform and please also bring your senior sweater.

Attention JAM for LIFE members, please pick up your tickets for the hunger lunch in Ms. Aneja room beginning on Tuesday. Don’t forget to bring your $6.00 for the two tickets.

All students who signed up for softball come to the first conditioning of the season on Wednesday, November 7th from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. You must have a physical form on file in order to participate; any questions please see Mrs. Overley. If you are currently trying out for basketball /soccer you will not need to attend, there were be other days for conditioning for you.
