Good Evening Mission Families, this is Ms. Cagigas with your weekly announcements.
Freshmen parents, there are still several families that have not paid their daughter’s Emergency Bag fee. This is a mandatory fee and needs to be paid. Please make sure to send in your payment no later than Monday. If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Sosa in the business office. The fee is $75.00.
The Tardy policy is in full force; we have seen an improvement in the number of tardies this week, however, the main reason for being late to school aside from traffic is over sleeping. If your daughter is going to be late please remind her to have her ID in hand; demerits will be issued if she does not have it.
Mission Boosters and GAA are proud to present their first annual Battle of the DJ’s contest. This contest will be held on Friday, October 26th from 7-11pm. Pre-sale tickets can be purchased next week from any GAA board member for the low price of $5.00 and $8.00 at the door. Come and support your Mission sisters.
Also needed for the Battle of the DJs are chaperons and/or donated items such as napkins, water, soda, and french fry boats. Please contact Oscar Reyna or Mrs. Overley.
There will be a Booster Meeting Monday, October 22 at 6:30pm to finalize plans for the Battle of the DJ’s. If you are going to chaperone, please attend the meeting this Monday evening.
Father Daughter Dance is Next Saturday, October 27, at Almansor Court in Alhambra: Dad's Midnight Ball. Please Purchase your tickets in the business office. A Donation flyer went out for the Father Daughter dance; donations are due Tuesday, October 23rd to Ms. Olmos.
Are you ready to do some Spring cleaning…do you have items you’d like to sell?? Well you’ll be happy to know that we’ve set the date for the first Flea Market of the year; November 11th (Veterans Day) from 8 am to 3 pm. If you are interested in purchasing a space please contact Ms. Olmos at ext 101. Spaces are $40 first come first serve.
