Ninth Grade Retreat is this coming Monday, October 8! Frosh must report to their homeroom at 7:45am; dismissal time is 12pm. Frosh retreat parent/guardian letter is posted on the retreats section under Campus Ministry on the SGMHS website. Please remember that retreats are a graduation requirement and this is a school day – attendance will be taken.
Sophomore, Juniors and Seniors, Monday, October 8th you will be visiting different college campuses as well as taking library tours. You must be at school by 7:45 am so we can leave on time. This is a school day and attendance will be taken. Please come in an appropriate Mission Tee, Jean pants, and walking shoes – no moccasins. You will need to bring your own lunch. Monday’s dismissal time for Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors is 3:10 pm.
Tuesday, October 9th and Wednesday, October 10th students are taking the IOWA test. Students are dismissed at 1:30 pm on Tuesday and 12 noon on Wednesday. All students are required to take this test. Attendance is mandatory.
Parents please join us for our annual Living Rosary Prayer Service led by the Senior class at 12:30pm in the auditorium on Tuesday, October 9.
Parents please encourage your daughter to take advantage our days off next Thursday October 11th and Friday October 12th to complete her service learning hours or Christian service hours. Fifteen hours are due by November. If your daughter has any questions, please have her contact Mrs. Aneja.
All parents this marks, the end of the first quarter. You may check your daughter’s Quarter Exam Report Card on Thursday, October 11th on Aeries under Grades. Save the date- Parent Teacher Conferences are on Tuesday, October 16th from 5-7pm in the Auditorium.
Freshmen parents your daughters received paperwork for the SGMHS Tablet sleeves. We still have a few students who have not turned in the paperwork and have not picked up the sleeve. This sleeve and paperwork are required. All paperwork must be turned into Mrs. Sosa in the Business Office on Monday, October 8.
Freshmen parents; Emergency Bag fees were due on the 28th of September and are now past due. Please send in your fee to avoid a late charge. For your convenience the fee can be paid over the phone via credit card to Mrs. Sosa at ext. 107.
