This past Friday, May 18, 2012 the seniors danced the night away at their fairy tale prom. The seniors came dressed to the nines for this special night. The evening began at Mission High School where the seniors introduced their dates to members of the administration and faculty. Then they boarded a charter bus and zoomed over to Santa Monica's Casa del Mar Hotel. Upon arrival, they viewed the beautiful sunset over the Pacific Ocean.
As the evening wore on, the seniors awaited the 2012 Prom Queen announcement. Five seniors were selected to run for this coveted award: Ms. Caitlynn Smith, Ms. Stephanie Chavez, Ms. Taylor Zelaya, Ms. Michelle Velasquez, and Ms. Leticia Bustos. Finally the time was upon them and the 2012 Prom Queen was Ms. Michelle Velasquez! The seniors cheered in sisterhood and congratulated their new queen.
