Yesterday, Mission cheered on the new 2012 basketball and soccer stars. The pep rally was hosted by Mission's Girls Athletic Association. To get the students' energy pumping, GAA board members invented competitive games for classes to play against each other. The games began with cardboard car races with the Junior class taking home the gold in this event. Next the students played a dress-up relay race, but this time the Seniors stole the show and came in first place. To finish off the games, the students chose one student from each class to represent them in a dance-off. The dance moves were all fresh and innovative but it was the Freshmen class that stood out the best. All in all, it was a great rally to support Mission's teams for the Winter Season!!
