Good Evening Mission Families, This is Mrs. Overley with your weekly announcements.

Just a reminder that our first mandatory fundraiser is well underway and all Raffle ticket money is due November 30th. This fundraiser is mandatory and money must be turned in by Nov 30th in order for your daughter to receive her Finals pass, no exceptions.

If you would like to take advantage of the Buyout for the mandatory fundraisers which include the Raffle, Walk a Thon, and Parent Dance the fee is $400 and is due by October 31st.

Today your daughter received a consent form from Outreach Concern. This form is needed for their counseling services. All forms must be returned to Ms. Olmos in Room 123 by Wednesday, October 26th.

Parent Teacher Conferences will be on Wednesday, October 26th from 5-7 pm in the Auditorium. Parents can pick up report cards in the foyer and meet with teachers directly after pick up. This marks the halfway period for the semester and is a great time to see how your student is progressing in her academics.

Monday is an early dismissal. Students will be dismissed at 12:53 pm.

Our Annual Father Daughter Dinner Dance Lights, Camera, Daddy will be on November 5th at the San Gabriel Hilton. Tickets are on sale in our business office for $60 a pair and $30 each additional daughter. Today a donation flyer for the Father Daugter went home with your daughter. Refer to the flyer for more information. If you would like to make donations to this event, please bring them to room 123.

Booster Club and GAA Pumpkin patch will be held tomorrow from 10:00-7:00pm on the school field. Come and support the athletic program of Mission.

Our second flea market of the season will be held tomorrow in the school parking lot from 8-3:30. All proceeds from this flea market will benefit the athletic program.

Homecoming dress & shoe checks will take place on October 31st at lunch please keep the receipt to your dress & shoes or have alternate dress & shoe ideas for this upcoming semi-formal event.


Parents, did you know that there are jobs available through the Work Experience Program that pay $8.00 per hour tax free? These jobs are offered through the Alhambra Unified School District. Students may work up to, but no more than 6 hours a week. Work Experience meets during lunch on Monday’s in the foyer. Please call (626) 308-2588 and contact Mrs. B if you have any questions.

Skirt Length checks will take place on October 26. Please help us speed up the process and support our efforts by measuring your daughter’s skirt this weekend (3 inches from the crease at the back of the knee) and making any alterations before next Wednesday especially if they have received a demerit in the past for this uniform infraction. Thank you for your cooperation.
