An exciting time played out today at the 2011 Fall Awards Assembly. Student scholars were honored at each grade level for their outstanding academic performance during the 2011 spring semester. Awards such as, Mission Merit, Mission Honor Role, and the California Scholarship Federation were received. Mission's Principal, Mr. Jamie Collins and Assistant Principal, Ms. Marielle Sallo, congratulated the students on their tremendous efforts.
In addition to these great accomplishments, Mission's chapter of the National Honor Society welcomed and inducted it's new members for the 2011-2012 school year. New members from grades 10, 11, and 12 were called on stage where they received a certificate and yellow rose. All members were implored to live up to and embody the organization's five ideals of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship.
