SGMHS Awards 2 Hanrahan Scholarships
On June 5, 2019 San Gabriel Mission High School held their Spring Awards Ceremony. Among the recipients were two juniors, Isabel Gomez and Jane Barrera who were both awarded the John Hanrahan Scholarship. The presenter was Mr Tom Barry, an alum from the Class of 1958. He described Mr. Hanrahan as one of the most outstanding and memorable teachers at SGMHS. Mr. Barry had the privilege of being taught by Mr. Hanrahan and says that to this day he made a lasting impression on the lives of many of his students.
