What lessons does American History provide for the present challenges facing American society?
The United States History Course will explore major themes in American History (American identity, diversity, culture, economic transformations, politics & citizenship, demographic changes, war & diplomacy, inequality & social justice, religion & social reform). Students will be encouraged think critically and engage in meaningful class discussions. It is imperative that students complete reading assignments and reading guides in order to best prepare themselves for class discussions. In addition, students will interpret and analyze both primary & secondary sources.
