All-Girls | Grades 5-8

Dates: 

Week 1: Monday, June 22 - Friday, June 26
Week 2: Monday, June 29 - Thursday, February 2 (Friday, February 3 - Holiday)

Week 3: Monday, July 6 - Friday, July 10


Times/ Schedule 

8:00am - 9:30am (Class 1 - Group A) - 1.5 hours

9:30am - 10:00am - (Break)

10:00am - 11:30am (Class 2 - Group B) - 1.5 hours

11:30am-12:30pm (Summer Camp Group Activity) 

12:30pm Dismissal 


Groups:

Group A: girls entering 5th & 6th Grade
Group B: girls entering 7th & 8th Grade


Summer Camp Fees

$25.00 Registration Fee (Due with completed application)

Limited space available


Full Program (3 weeks): $225.00 (this includes the registration fee of $25.00)

Fees and registration will cover Summer Camp t-shirt, instructor time and materials.


Program Description: Join us for a Performing and Visual Arts Summer Camp for girls entering grades 5-8. Our instructors are SGMHS alumni and/or teachers that will be covering activities in:

-Dance

-Performing Arts

-Video producing

-Film writing and editing

and much more!


It is our mission to cultivate young girls with strong creativity skills.  Academics and arts are important for an ideal balance for personal growth. Through our new summer program, we offer performing and visual arts skills training to build the new generation of young women leaders. 

 

Our Summer Camp students will write and produce their own short films, and learn dance and performance exercises. Guided by our always-encouraging instructors, each young girl will find the ability to express herself to foster self-esteem and build confidence.

 

San Gabriel Mission High School students and alumni have received over +50 IMDB credits for their film projects through the years. Our Summer Camp instructors are professional, experienced, and proud graduates of SGMHS.

Must submit the application, registration fee, and include 1 letter of recommendation from the students current school.

July 17 is an option field trip day

8am-9am - Morning Care

9:00am - 12pm Spanish and STEM Enrichment Classes with one recess between classes

12pm - 1pm Lunch (Pick up or Drop off for ½ day campers)

1pm - 4pm Summer Camp Activities 

4pm-4:30 Pick up 

4:30-5:30 Afternoon Care


Groups (dependant on number enrolled in each grade level):

Group A: entering 1st grade 
Group B: entering 2nd & 3rd

Group C: entering 4th & 5th 


Summer Camp Fees

$250.00 Full Day (Due with completed application)

$150.00 ½ Day Option AM or PM (Due with completed application)

$150.00 Surround Care (Flat fee whether you are getting AM or PM surround care) (Due with completed application)

$10 Tee shirt fee (Optional) (Due with completed application)

$1 Swimming Pool Entrance Fee (Optional) (Due the morning of our swim days)

$3-5 Lunch fee (Optional once a week) (Order form & money due the week before lunch days)

Knott’s Field Trip approximately $33 ticket, $14 meal voucher, and $15 bus fee (Optional) (Due with permission slip on July)


Program Description: Gabe's Place is a summer day camp for boys and girls in 1-5th graders from June 24 - July 18, 2020 .  Gabe's Place is located on the campus of the San Gabriel Mission High School at 254 S. Santa Anita St. San Gabriel.  Gabe's Place is a teen and college age young adult leadership development program for the parish and school communities to enhance their leadership skills and build their resume during the summer starting with training and preparations June 19-23, 2020.  Through the operations of a summer day these teens and college age young cult camp counselors, activity directors, and camp directors develop executive, administrative, and facilitation skills. This program is also meant to cultivate the relationships with SGMHS and the parish, elementary school, and other partner schools by offering an affordable summer of enrichment program for school age children.  


Gabe’s Place Camper Registration Instructions: 

Must submit the application online on this form Gabe’s Place Registration Form. Limited space available.  Registration usually closes within 1 month.  In addition to the registration form and fees the following permission slips are due by our Family Meeting June 10, 2020 at 6pm GP 2020 Permission Slip and optional form GP 2020 Knott’s Field Trip.


Payment & Permission slips completes your application.  If you are paying by credit card, please give us the information in the form.  If you are going to make your payment over the phone or in person with a check or cash, please stop by the SGMHS business office 8am-3:30pm or call Ms. Sosa at 626-282-3181x107 to schedule an appointment. All information is confidential and will be deleted once the transaction has gone through.
