Clubs & Activities


Students at San Gabriel Mission High School have the opportunity to participate in many activities on campus including clubs, pep rallies, film and art festivals, assemblies, and prayer liturgies.  Asian ClubThe Asian Club aims to promote “Strength and unity through Diversity” by sharing their knowledge and experience of various Asian cultures.

D’Art

The D’Art Club seeks to develop an appreciation for all forms of Fine Arts at Mission.

French Club

The purpose of this club is to promote French culture and an awareness of the entire French-speaking world calle “la francophonie”.  The club is open to everyone and accepts members who are ready to contribute, enjoy and learn the culture of the French-speaking world.

Justice Action at Mission (JAM)

JAM is a socially concerned group that promotes human rights, social justice and concern for the environment through various activities.  Providing food boxes for the San Gabriel Mission Parish Christian Service Center, writing letters to Congress, participating in AIDS walks, and celebrating Earth Day are a few of the ways this group shows its concern.

Math, Astronomy, Science & Computer Club (MASC)

MASC offers an organization for students interested in math, science, or computer careers.  Activities include field trips, projects, and tutoring for students who wish extra help in those specific areas.

Mujeres Unidas

Mujeres Unidas offers students the opportunity to learn and celebrate the richness of the Latin American culture.

Student Development Council (SDC)

This select group of students promotes the school’s image within the school as well as to the outside community.

The Key Club

The Key Club is a student-led organization of service.  Members participate in various events to fundraise for diseases, disasters, or problems our world faces today.  Responsibility and respect is learned by active participation.

Yearbook

Yearbook, which is known as the Pioneer, is a year-long class.  Students learn layout, copywriting photography, and other publication techniques while creating a lasting memory of the school year.
