Guidance and Counseling


Academic Counseling

This is an ongoing service offered to each girl to help her plan a program of classes each year.  Advisors, teachers, and parents must approve course selections.  Students on all levels are given guidance in understanding and evaluating test scores.

College Counseling

This is availalbe to girls on all levels but offered more intensely to juniors and seniors.  A library of college catalogs is housed in the College Career Center.  Students are encouraged to apply for available grants and scholarships and testing opportunities.  The College Counselors as well as college representatives visiting the school are available for individual and group guidance.

Work Experience Education

This is provided by representatives of the San Gabriel School District.  It is designed to support the health and educational welfare of students who work.  Please contact Ms. Michele Buchicchio at (626) 308-2588 with questions regarding the Work Experience Program.  Her office hours are 8:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
