In Octotober, classes are given a complete battery of Standardized Tests which help assess the sequential learning pattern and achievement of each student.  In January, the Plan/Explorer/Act test is administered in 9-11 grade students.  the benefit of this tes is to give evaluators the means to structure high school planning and career explorations.

The Scholastic Aptitutde Test (SAT), or the College Entrance Examination Board, is taken by those seniors applying to four-year colleges.  Juniors are encouraged to take the SAT in the Spring semester preceding their senior year.  The SAT guages college success based upon verbal, written, and mathematical proficiency.
